Description
REAR: ONE Japanese Maple (Acer Palmatum)(T1)(ht.3m) FELL. Reason: tree has sadly died and therefore requires removal. The tree is in the middle of our garden, not proximate to roads or other buildings. Tree replanting proposal: Replant a similar tree.REAR: ONE Eucalyptus (T1)(ht.15m) RE-POLLARD HEIGHT by 7.5m from 15m to 7.5m, REDUCE RADIUS by 1.5m from 2.5m to 1m on all compass points. Reason: Tree requires height reduction by a half given that it has grown to a significant height of c.15m. It is essentially a case of removing the branches that have grown to a dangerous height and leaving the tree at a safe height with all lower branches still in place. Informative A: the replacement tree for Japanese maple T1 is greatly appreciated under duty to replace, suggest species such as Japanese crab apple, Cornus controversa, Magnolia; Informative B: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity. Informative C: the retention of the Eucalyptus in the well treed and vegetated rear garden is hugely welcome for rear amenity, wildlife, biodiversity and to cool temperatures in increasingly hot summers with the changing climate.
