Reason: smothered in ivy and nearly dead, close to rear of the house, replanting proposal: Magnolia stellata.REAR: ONE Hazel (T2)(ht.7.5m) RE-COPPICE by 1.5m from 7.5m to 6m, REDUCE RADIUS by 1.5m from 6m to 4.5m. Reason: re-coppice by removing the six older stems, general maintenance.REAR: ONE Cypress (T3(ht.11m) CROWN LIFT to 4.5m above ground. Reason: to re-balance.Informative A: the retention of the other rear garden trees and replacement for the elder (T1) with a Magnolia stellata is greatly appreciated, or alternatively with another elder to maintain wildlife benefits. Informative B: please use arisings to create deadwood habitat wood piles and if possible retain the dead elder stem as a high stump for wildlife and biodiversity.
