Application Details
Description
REAR: TWO Plum (T1,T2)(ht.6m) FELL. Reason: The trees are showing signs of dieback in the canopy, symptomatic of poor vitality. It is felt that although a crown reduction will help keep green cover it will not be a good long-term solution. They should be removed to allow two more prunus trees to be planted.Informative A: The proposed replacement trees are hugely appreciated, other suitable species to compliment the Horniman Nature Trail on the disused treed rail line to the rear are such as crab apple, bird cherry, alder buckthorn, elder, goat willow, wild cherry, Tibetan cherry, paperbark maple, pear, Quince, hawthorn, whitebeam.Informative B: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
