FRONT: ONE Sycamore (T4, T6 in TPO)(ht.16m) FELL. Reason: subsidence at the property, felling is proposed as a remedy to the differential foundation movement at the property and to ensure the long-term stability of the building. Tree replanting proposed: Crab apple, Hawthorn or Holly of a height no greater than 6m. The London Borough of Lewisham (Albion Villas & Redberry Grove) Tree Preservation Order 1974.Informative A: the proposed replacement tree(s) for sycamore (T4, TPO T6) is appreciated and suggest species from NHBC low water demand species, such as Gleditsia, holly, Laburnum, hazel, elder, birch - to be planted close to the frontage boundary with Sydenham Park Road to maintain the treed boundary for public amenity.Informative B: the application is to fell Sycamore T4 (TPO T6) only - not Oak T2 (TPO T8) as mentioned in PSI Arboricultural Assessment Report June 2021 para 4.2.Informative C: should structural issues continue after a period of monitoring following the felling of sycamore (T4, TPO T6), the use of a copper impregnated geotextile fabric root barrier such as Optera or Cutex is strongly encouraged to avoid the felling of any of the three mature oak trees T1(TPO T9), T2(TPO T8), T3 beside Redberry Grove.
