Reason: health & safety, tree has an established Ganoderma fungal decay bracket (approx.30cm) at the base, tree is on higher ground and overhangs Whitepost Lane public path to the rear, previous severe reduction likely to have contributed to fungal infection and deep decay cavities at pruning wounds, adjacent horse chestnut tree stump shows evidence of Meripilus decay fungus.REAR: ONE Elder (T3)(ht:6m) FELL.
