REAR: ONE Conifer (T1)(ht.6m)(w.3m) FELL. Reason: the conifer is of minimal wildlife value, to replace with a range of other shrubs and trees when building works are complete. REAR: ONE Laurel (T2)(ht.4m)(w.2m) FELL. Reason: the laurel has minimal wildlife value, to be replaced with a range of other shrubs and trees once building works are completed. REAR: ONE Cotoneaster (T3)(ht.4m)(w.4m) FELL. Reason: the cotoneaster is overgrown and a replacement will be much better suited to complete the planting on the site.Reason: We are proposing to remove these three shrubs/trees. We have a garden design with extensive planting to replace them. The planting beds will extend all along this side of the garden as well as the other side and a range of other shrubs and trees will be replanted once the building works are completed. Informative A: as the rear trees are shown retained in approved planning applications, DC/24/135714 and DC/24/135724, the proposed garden design needs to include suitable replacement trees to safeguard the visual amenity of the area species such as: crab apple, Carolina silverbells (Halesia carolinia), Robinia, field maple, Tibetan cherry, Bee-bee Tree (Euodia hupehensis), whitebeam, mulberry, Cornus Kousa, paperbark maple.Informative B: the retention of rear birch, T1 in 6-week notice DC/24/135742, is greatly appreciated with proposed planting of 3x multi-stemmed birch to contribute to retaining rear tree amenity and urban greening.
