Description

REAR: ONE Poplar (T1)(ht.17m) FELL. Reason: tree now very dangerous, risk to several gardens and outbuildings, it has been leaning over the years but considerably increased this year, main stem is full of cavities with fungal decay Ganoderma, and it dropped a sizable limb last year. The client is willing to replant with a large canopy species replacement tree as recommended by the Local Authority under duty to replace.Informative A: the replacement with a hornbeam as agreed in agents email 21 June 2024 is greatly appreciated under duty to replace to maintain the urban forest canopy.Informative B: if possible retain a safe standing monolith stem, or leave the trunk lying on site and create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
