Reason: to bring in canopy, pruning to suitable points, trees are lapsed pollards on a cyclical programme to maintain a reasonable crown size for the environment, close to the main building and a boundary wall. REAR: ONE Lime tree (T5)(ht.8m) FELL. Reason: extensive die back in the crown, fell due to health & safety. A native tree will be planted as a replacement.Informative A: the proposed replacement for T5 is greatly appreciated to maintain urban greening benefits, suggested species: hawthorn, hazel, bird cherry, cherry plum, crab apple, pear, spindle, alder buckthorn, .Informative B: where possible retain safe standing stems, high stumps and create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
