Application Details
Description
REAR SIDE (to Dartmouth Hill): ONE Tree of Heaven (T1)(ht.16m) FELL. Reason: major crack, structural defect increasing in main stem fork at ht.3.5m with large wide-spreading heavy boughs on both stems above the fork crack, with high-risk target to highway and rear garden. 2x arborist advice that crown reduction and bracing would not reduce the high risk of failure. Fell necessary for health and safety, replacement tree proposed with a large canopy tree species.Informative A: taking advice from arboricultural advisors is appreciated to be sure the tree cannot be safely retained. Informative B: the offer to plant a replacement large canopy tree is hugely welcome for public amenity on this part of Dartmouth Hill, and the setting of the villa garden, species such as oak, Caucasian wingnut, Common walnut, Tulip Tree, Japanese Pagoda Tree, beech.
