REAR: ONE Poplar (T4, A1 in TPO)(ht.18m) CROWN REDUCE HEIGHT by 5-6m to ht.12-13m to appropriate prune points, retaining crown branch structure. Reason: health and safety, re-established crown from historic pollard, recent branch collapse, height reduction to reduce mechanical stress on pollard regrowth, to address safety to site operatives and neighbouring property, while retaining main framework of the re-established crown and retain tree aesthetics for site amenity.REAR: ONE Poplar (T8, A1 in TPO)(ht.18m) POLLARD/RETRENCH by approx.9-10m to ht.8-9m retaining main stem and principal branches to minimise diameter of reduction wounds. Reason: health and safety, poorly formed/limited crown due to previous major limb removal, thin canopy with dieback, overrun by abundant ivy growth, possible decay in lower canopy, reduce to safe height/ retrench to reduce risk of failure, to retain the main stem and principal branches for regrowth for low level screening on the site boundary, and manage ivy for wildlife and biodiversity.
