REAR: ONE Gleditsia (T1)(ht.13m) FELL to 3m high monolith and replace. Reason: safety, tree has historic splits and now risk of failure as the main stem split has recently become larger and further down the tree. To be replaced under Duty to replace.Informative A: retaining the main stem as a 3m high monolith for wildlife and biodiversity is greatly appreciated, please create habitat log piles and dead hedging with arisings.Informative B: a large canopy replacement tree is encouraged to replace the Gledistsia feature tree for the rear garden landscape, treed character of Belmont conservation area and to maintain the urban forest canopy - replacement tree species to consider are: Wild Service Tree (Sorbus torminalis), Robinia, Japanese Pagoda tree, Tulip Tree, Indian Horse Chestnut, sessile oak, small leaved lime, wingnut, hornbeam, hop hornbeam, field maple, whitebeam, Golden Rain tree (Koelreuteria paniculata).
