FRONT: ONE Ash (T1)(ht:9m): FELL.FRONT: FIVE Laurel (T2-T5)(ht:5-7m): FELL Reason: repeat of previously granted notice DC/22/125816, trees are in front of currently redundant substation which needs to be utilised for network reinforcement works, with underground cables due to be installed, the easement area must be kept clear of vegetation under the terms of the lease, the trees are not able to be replaced.Informative A: the loss of vegetation is unfortunate as it reduces air pollution from the busy south circular road. It would be greatly appreciated if replacement shrubs or hedging could be planted on land adjacent to the easement or on the other side of the access drive for amenity, urban greening, wildlife and environmental benefits, species such as Cotoneaster franchetii which traps 20% more emissions than other hedges tested by the RHS.
