Reason: health and safety inspection after recent storms Henk and Isha, tree (Item 3) is dead, tree (Item 4) has decayed hollow stem, replacement to be planted as part of the current year's planting for the Queens Green Canopy, species selected from: beech, hornbeam, field maple, wild cherry, aspen. The London Borough of Lewisham (Land at the rear of Woodyates Road and Pitfold Road, London SE12) Tree Preservation Order 1996. Informative B: the retention of the Lombardy poplar stems as safe high stumps is encouraged for wildlife and biodiversity.Informative C: the Trust's tree planting as part of the Queens Green Canopy and habitat enhancement including log piles on site is greatly appreciated to maintain the wooded area for amenity, wellbeing, wildlife and environmental benefits.
