FRONT: ONE Sugar Maple (T2/T4 in TPO)(ht:12m,rs:4m): LOW POLLARD to ht.3.5m below extensive decay cavity at 4m. Reason: health and safety, previously crown reduced, tree has extensive decay cavity at ht.4m, more than 40% of heartwood absent, decay and die back throughout the crown, ratio of sound wood insufficient to support the tree reliably in its current form, pollard is recommended.FRONT: ONE Sycamore (T3/T6 in TPO)(ht:15,rs:6m) remove crossing, fused branch near top of crown. Reason: to improve tree structure.FRONT: ONE London Plane (T9/T13 in TPO)(ht:15m, rs:5m): CROWN REDUCE HEIGHT by 2m from 15m to ht.13m, REDUCE RADIUS by 2m from 5m to 3m to previous reduction points. Reason: regular maintenance to re-pollard to last reduction points, provide light to the adjacent block of flats.Informative A: the sensitive management of the trees is greatly appreciated for public realm amenity and urban forest environmental benefits.Informative B: retention of lying timber and creation of habitat log piles with arisings is encouraged for wildlife and biodiversity.Informative C: a replacement tree for TPO Maple T5 which had a significant lean and was removed between 2015 and 2019, would be hugely appreciated.
