REAR: ONE Horse Chestnut tree (T1) CROWN REDUCTION - HEIGHT by 3m from 20m to 17m & LATERALS by 3m from 10m to 7m. Reduction to shape canopy, pruning to suitable points and rebalance whilst maintaining natural aesthetic. Work undertaken to bring it back to form and improve light conditions. The tree has been reduced previously so this is part of an ongoing management plan. A resistograph report has been attached that these recommendations have been based on. The tree will tolerate the pruning as specified above.Informative A: The sensitive management of the tree is greatly appreciated for landscape amenity, wildlife, wellbeing, and urban forest canopy for environmental benefits to mitigate the effects of climate change.Informative B: Wherever possible, please create habitat log piles in the garden from cut branches for wildlife and biodiversity.
