REAR: ONE Cypress (T4)(ht:7m) FELL.REAR: ONE Eucalyptus (T5)(ht:15m) FELL.Reason: Clay shrinkage subsidence damage at the property.Informative A: subsidence investigations indicate cypress T4 is propably the main tree causing subsidence. Recent level monitoring (9.10.23) shows movement is mainly in the southwest corner of the rear outrigger close cypress T4 and TP/BHs 1 & 2 where cypress roots were identified. Informative B: please continue monitoring after the felling of cypress T4 and Eucalyptus T5 to see if movement stabilises.Informative C: London Plane T1 is a street tree close to the side of no.134 and TP/BH 3 where there is little or no movement. It is noted that street tree T1 is also identified for felling in the arboricultural report. Street tree London Plane T1 is very significant to public realm and it would be unfortunate for it to be felled prematurely and unnecessarily.Informative D: a replacement tree is encouraged at the end of the rear garden for urban forest amenity, wildlife, wellbeing and environmental benefits.Informative E: if space allows please create habitat log piles for wildlife and biodiversity with arisings.
