REAR ONE Magnolia tree(T1)(7m)FELL to the ground. Reason: The reason is due to the very close proximity (less than 90 centimeters) to the house and danger the roots and branches present to the structure of the house. The tree has outgrown its space. There are also signs that tree roots are lifting paving slabs. Additionally the tree very significantly obstructs light to windows at the back of the house. The tree is not visible from the street as it is situated right behind the house. We would consider future planting in the back garden in a more suitable location and at a safer distance from the house.Informative A: Please continue to maintain an urban green garden by planting a replacement small tree in a more appropriate location. Species suggested: Amelanchier, hazel, Cornus mas, Witch hazel, Chimonanthus praecox, wayfaring tree, winter flowering cherry (Prunus autumnalis), Seven-son tree, (Heptacodium miconioides), Stachyurus praecox, Ceanothus arboreus, Harlequin Glorybower (Clerodendrum trichotomum), Sweet box (Sarcococca hookeriana), Buddleia, Stachyurus praecox, Ceanothus, flowering currant (Ribes sanguineum), Pyracantha, Mahonia 'Charity', Viburnum tinus, Jasminum nudiflorum, Elaeagnus, Spiraea, Daphne.
