Description

REAR: ONE Sycamore (T1)(ht:c.14m): LATERAL REDUCTION by 4m from 10m to 6m on the eastern side, removing one of three stems. Reason: the tree has three main stems, the most eastern of which has a very poor union, this increases the likelihood of failure so presents a hazard for the neighbouring property which it overhangs, reduction to shape canopy, maintaining a natural aesthetic where possible, the tree will tolerate pruning.Informative A: the sensitive management of the tree is greatly appreciated for landscape amenity, wildlife, wellbeing, and urban forest canopy to mitigate climate change.Informative B: please use the cut stem to create habitat log piles and smaller branches and twigs to form a linear 'dead hedge' in the garden for wildlife and biodiversity.
