Description

T1 Ash – Removal of the lower primary branch on the East side of the main stem that hangs down towards the road and streetlight. Removal of all deadwood. Inspect the main stem on the West side of the tree with the small black Innonotus hispidus bracket fungus growing to check for structural integrity. Clearing around the base of the tree, so it is easier to inspect for faults. T2 Cedar – Removal of the smaller primary branch on the East side of the tree that hangs towards the pathway and road and clear away from the streetlight. Tidy up the fractured stub where a large branch has broken off in the past. Remove all deadwood. Check branch unions for structural integrity. Clearing around the base of the tree, so it is easier to inspect for faults. T3 -Yew – Remove small lower branches growing on the East side to a height of two metres. Other trees to be maintained at a height of 5 metres over the highway and 3 metres over the footpath.
