Description

T1 is a medium sized Scots pine (Pinus silvestre) - Many sections of the tree have become over-extended. This has led to cladoptosis (branch drop). As the tree is an area used during funeral services, members of the public are in the danger area of the tree in all weathers (including a recent near-miss). The scars from previous branch drop incidents have created several weaknesses in the canopy, therefore the tree is to be removed and replanted with three standard Scots pines as per British standards for planting.
