Alterations including demolition of side conservatory; construction of new conservatory to rear; extension and alterations to basement; part two storey, part single storey front extension, with gables extended and new roof lights; remodelling of roof; remodelling of annexe with single storey extensions; removal of existing outbuilding, new timber bin store; external alterations including new access steps to front terrace with stone balustrade; new steel gates; replacement of rear tarmac yard with terraced area with steps to lawn, drive and parking area, stone retaining wall - NON MATERIAL AMENDMENT TO 22/07818/FU - In summary; Major underpinning and support work to develop further useable space in the basement area. New build section of basement 3 new windows were originally proposed and this has been reduced to 2. In the original basement garage the glazed screens have been reduced to simplify the structure and a proposed end window in this space has been reduced. Pitch of roofs adjusted to aid build ability and chimneys have been removed. The level of the eaves has increased by a metre or so reflecting the reduction in the pitch and the maintaining of the roof height. The roof finish has been changed from clay plain tiles originally used on the house to a slate blue smooth finish concrete tile. Proposed small plain tile version of main roof tiles is used for the entrance, conservatory and annexe. In bedroom 1 bathroom a small window has been added and the proposed velux roof window omitted. Proposed that the window is finished in obscure glass. Window to bedroom 1 dressing room has been reduced by similar amount to the size of the bathroom window above. Velux roof window has also been omitted from the upper gallery (See covering letter for a detailed summary of proposals)
