Listed Building Application for strengthening works to existing roof members and existing floor to offices above the Grand Emerald Hall including installation of 250 x 5mm thick steel plates with 100 x 100 x 10mm RSA's welded to the new steel plates, to either side of all the existing trusses, new 150 x 75mm PFC's to the existing timber purlins and new steelwork is to aid in strengthening the existing timbers and to tie in the existing to the external walls, removal of brickwork to the internal inner leaf, maximum 3 courses, in phases, to allow installation of new 180 x 75mm PFC at office floor level, plus new 330 x 215 x 100mm concrete padstones, where the splice detail occurs to alleviate the current structural loads to the external wall above the large windows in the Grand Emerald Hall by spreading the loads along the wall and reducing the plaster cracking in this area
