G1 Group of Lime - The proposed work is to re-pollard the trees to a height of approximately 7.5m with a crown spread of approximately 3m. The trees currently stand at approximately 10m with a crown spread of 5m. The reason for the works is to continually manage the trees as pollards pruning every 4/5 years. There has been multiple complaints over the years about the size of the trees over the years and the shade cast to surrounding properties. The trees have been historically managed as pollards and given the potential risk of branch failure on lapsed pollards I feel this is the best way to manage the trees going forward. The group where previously pollarded in the winter of 2019/20.
