Description

T1 Ash - Split into three trunks at 1m above ground, 2 vertical trunks to remain, 3rd angled trunk significantly overhanging garden and towards property to be removed.T2 Walnut - The crown extends horizontally from the trunk to a distance of 8m. The request is to prune the horizontal extent of the tree to a distance of 6m from the trunk (75% of its current width) at a lower level, but not to alter its height. This should also remove some of the weight of the tree, which is concentrated exclusively on one side. The tree itself has historically failed/been cut (at about 1.5m), and re-grown. The short hollow trunk section and subsequent growth are aligned at 45deg rather than vertically (photo attached).
