Works to Protected Trees (TPO No. 493, 2023):T1 Japanese flowering cherry (Prunus serrulata Kanzan): Crown reduction. Reduce height by up to 2m (from 7m to approx. 5m) and lateral spread by up to 2m (from 7m to approx. 5m). All pruning to suitable secondary growth points to maintain a natural crown form and balanced aesthetic.Reason for works: To restore the trees form, alleviate shading to the dwelling and garden and maintain clearance of the public footway and adjacent lamp column. The reduction will also increase daylight levels to the frontage while ensuring long term management of crown spread.Note: The works shall be limited to the canopy outline shown by the red line in the submitted photograph (3437844 Photo PHOTO.png), which forms part of the approved documents for this consent.
