Variation of conditions 13 (Details and full specifications of kitchen fume extraction and filtration) and 18 (Security measures) of planning permission ref : 20/00327/FUL (Refurbishment of the existing community and sports centre, including the erection of 2 storey rear extension including the excavation of basement, the installation of kitchen extract flue, together with the replacement of windows/doors and new cut metal panels plus the relocation of a new fascia sign) granted 27/01/2022.Variation sought : Revised wording to condition 13 to read : No above ground development shall be commenced until details and full specifications of kitchen fume extraction and filtration equipment, and ongoing maintenance plan, have been submitted to and approved in writing by the local planning authority. The scheme of filtration shall take account of the odour risk as assessed in accordance with Appendix 3 of the EMAQ Control of Odour and Noise Guidance and where necessary shall include supporting external and internal elevational drawings and plans of the proposed ventilation layout. The use hereby permitted shall not commence until the approved details are fully implemented. The approved fume extraction and filtration equipment shall thereafter be retained and maintained in working order for the duration of the use in accordance with the approved details.Revised wording to condition 18 to read : The development hereby permitted shall incorporate security measures to minimise the risk of crime and to meet the specific Security needs of the development in accordance with the principles and objectives of Secured by Design. Details of these measures shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the local planning authority prior to the commencement of above ground development and shall be implemented in accordance with the approved details prior to occupation.
