Description

T1 - Lime. To establish a managed pollard framework on this early mature lime, primary scaffold branches are proposed to be reduced to a uniform height (approximately 5 metres above ground level), creating a balanced pollard head structure. Final pruning cuts will be positioned just above suitable lateral growth points, retaining sufficient live crown to maintain physiological function and minimise stress. Works will be undertaken in accordance with BS 3998:2010. The intention is for the tree to be managed on a regular cyclical pollarding regime thereafter to maintain structural stability and its intended landscape function.
