Sycamore (acer psuedoplatanus) complete felling/removal of tree [note stump may remain - owing to risk to old carstone boundary wall] due to a recent serious incident with a tree (located within the curtilage of 27a Avenue Road) causing an historic red brick and carstone wall to collapse causing significant damage to vehicles located at 25 Avenue Road. The tree has a split/dual trunk that is understood to weaken the integrity of the tree. Significant lateral branches extend onto third party owned, apartment outdoor communal parking area and amenity space for residents and there is potential risk to people and property from falling branches and/or tree. The significant branches are now touching the elevation of the apartment block. Reason for application : protection of people and property from injury and/or damage.
