Description
This relates to restoration work over Hunstanton Hall gardens. The main structure of the garden is formed of extension beech, holly, Portuguese laurel and yew hedges. There are lines of Scots pines, several Wellingtonia, several cedars and extensive green/holm oak. 1 - Remove dead and dangerous trees. 2 - Remove natural regrowth which has evaded the garden structure over the last 100 years (mostly sycamore, some beech regrowth. 3 - Trim back established hedges and trees to preserve health and stimulate regrowth. 4 - Make safe wind damaged trees (by reducing canopy rather than removal where possible). 5 - Cut back excessive canopy overshadowing pathways and moat side to allow regrowth
