Description

CONSULTATION BY OUTER DOWSING OFFSHORE WIND: The Project will include both offshore and onshore infrastructure including an offshore generating station of up to 100 wind turbines, offshore platforms and other electrical infrastructure. Offshore export cables will export electricity via export cables to landfall located at Wolla Bank, Chapel St Leonards. At landfall, the offshore export cables will be connected to the onshore infrastructure. Onshore cables will be routed underground to an onshore substation in the vicinity of Surfleet Marsh with cables routed underground from that onshore substation in order to connect into the main transmission network via new transmission infrastructure to be owned and operated by National Grid
