Description

Replacement non-original door with sash window at ground floor. Removal of rear railings on rear terrace. Installation of air conditioning unit in rear reception room in joinery. Remove dropped ceiling in rear reception room and restore original proportions of room. Dividing wall to be relocated to reinstate original proportions of room. Replace fireplace surround with surround in-keeping with period. Additional bathroom in closet wing at second floor. Remove external cement pointing and replace with lime mortar, all masonry paint removed from brickwork and stucco render, and rear render removed. Brick work to be cleaned. Period features to be reinstated where non existing, such as doors, skirting, architraves, cornicing. Gable wall to be internally insulated throughout, insulation fixed to wall. Works to doors on circulation spaces. Alterations to previously approved planning and listed building consent. Retrospective Approval sought for works to rebuild garden walls.
