Description

Alterations to basement flat including: replacement of single-glazed, timber framed, white painted sash windows with double-glazed units to match exterior of the building; replacement of single-glazed, timber framed, white painted French doors with double-glazed units; replacement of single-glazed, timber framed, white painted French doors with contemporary aluminium framed glazed sliding doors to open out to the garden; raising of lower terrace floor level by 150mm to align with basement flat internal floor level; incorporation of SuDS and drainage strategies for lower terrace area; removal of exterior steps in middle of garden connecting rear raised terrace to basement lower terrace; excavation of rear raised terrace by 700mm to reduce the current 2000mm level change (between the raised and lower terrace) to 1300mm; installation of reduced-height L-shaped staircase connecting the rear raised terrace to the basement lower terrace; and removal of existing tree Aurustinus Viburnum tinus, replacement tree to be planted in new location.
