Description

Replacement of 2 no. first floor french windows only, retaining window frames with shutters and 2 no. second floor sash window only, retaining sash box, highlighted on elevations below. New windows will be timber frame, double glazed with non-tinted glass. Replacement of these windows will be undertaken later this year. Replacement units will be to match, slimline timber-framed units, designed for use in historic buildings. Replacement windows will be hardwood with argon-filled, clear glass (non-tinted), sealed double glazing units no more than 20mm, integral glazing bar detail to match, with brush draft excluders. Units will be painted to match original window surround, which will be retained.
