Description

Non-material amendment to planning permission 23/03354 to amend elevations and layout plans. Elevations: removal of helical stair enclosure to construct new lift shaft; installation of rooftop balustrading to match existing areas of the building; new concealed roof cowls to allow for ventilation into the roof space; increase to the height of the courtyard extension to allow for increased ceiling voids to facilitate hotel servicing and ventilation strategy; update to the head and cills of approved new windows to match existing front sash windows within the bay; and installation of low-level louvres to allow for ventilation from roof top plant enclosure. Layout plans: updates to internal layout plans following additional structural investigation; relocation of lifts; amendment to basement vault layout plans following revised building surveys; amendment to riser sizing and arrangement following detailed design; and amendment to internal staircase following further input from the Fire consultant and Building Control
