Description

Replacement of bottom 4 steps of non-original staircase ascending from basement to ground floor level. Replacement of non-original decorative polished hardwood balustrade with simple wrought iron railings and handrail. Replacement of modern glazed and polished hardwood access door to lift motor room below staircase with less conspicuous jib door in painted finish to match walls and skirting. Replacement of modern polished hardwood skirting with traditional moulded painted softwood skirting.
