Description

Third Floor: New staircase to roof level, consistent with existing historical staircase, replacing existing non-original staircase. New metal framed double glazed access hatch to roof level. Internal layout reconfiguration. New non full height joinery units. Existing original windows and doors to be retained, refurbished, and redecorated to match existing. New internal doors to match existing where required. Redecoration to walls and ceilings to match existing where required using lime based plaster. Original mouldings, cornicing and skirtings to be retained. All external rainwater goods to be cast iron, to match original pattern where possible. New electrical wiring and underfloor heating. Roof Level: Extending existing front terrace to the rear and construction of new associated rear parapets to match the front. New traditional metal balustrade to replace existing, to match existing design and to match existing front balcony railings colour and material.
