Details required by condition no. 4 (Attenuation of air conditioning units) of planning permission 22/06243 (At Ground Floor level works to front and rear elevations include: replacing single glazed windows with painted metal-framed double-glazed replicas of existing; replacing condenser unit on front elevation and adding horizontal grille vent; lowering height of window cills on rear elevation and obscuring low-level glazing. At First and Second Floor level, replacing crittal framed single glazing to front and rear elevation with painted metal-framed double-glazed units; installing openable fanlights; installing insulation and waterproofing with single ply membrane to balcony flooring, slightly increasing balcony levels. In addition at First Floor level, replacing low-level railings to rear elevation with metal and glass balustrade; retaining trellis and adding high-level secondary glass panel for privacy. In addition at Second Floor level, replacing railings to front elevation with metal and glass balustrade; replacing air conditioning plant at rear, encased in acoustic housing; installing insulation and waterproofing to flat roof and main roof with single ply membrane, slightly increasing roof levels; replacing door to flat roof at rear and installing additional door; replacing gutter, gulley and hopper heads and installing new parts where required; replacing 2no. domed plastic rooflight covers with double-glazed walk-on rooflights (infilling 2no. other domed plastic covers as shown in plans). Additional refurbishment of flat roofs and main roof, including removing access ladder, forming opening and installing access hatch; replacing condenser units and installing acoustic screens on both sides.)
