S73 application (Minor material amendment) to vary the wording of conditions no. 2 (DRAWINGS AND DOCUMENT NUMBERS), and 5 (WINDOWS OBSCURED AND FIXED SHUT) of planning permission P2023/3177/FUL, dated 26 March 2024 and P2024/1750/S73, dated 03 July 2024. The application seeks the following amendments: A] 5 windows to side and rear elevation changed from double glazed to triple glazed aluminium (48mm glazing thickness) and 2 rear elevation windows changed to double glazed aluminium (32mm glazing thickness) B] bricking up of Window WFF 04 at first floor level that serves Bedroom 3. C] Wording of condition 5 changed as follows: WINDOWS OBSCURED AND FIXED SHUT: Notwithstanding the plans hereby approved windows shown as being obscurely glazed and identified on plans 930.204 rev. h and 930.209 rev. h shall be provided as such prior to the first occupation of the development. This includes • Window at first floor level that serves Bedroom 1 to the rear elevation to be obscurely glazed to a height of 1.7m with an openable top panel (already approved). All obscurely glazed windows shall be permanently maintained as such and shall be fixed shut, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. REASON: To prevent the undue overlooking of neighbouring habitable room windows.
