We want to fell down the lime tree and grind its stump in order to stop the roots from damaging the private pavement (off-street car park) and our property as it is less than 6 meters from the wall of the house. Please note that our previous insurance company (and several others) refused to renew our insurance policy when they found out the tree was so big (over 15m) and so close to the property.
