2 Lime Trees on the property of 6 Freegrove Road, streetside. (see photos and sketch) Works to be carried out: Pruning of both trees with remaining height as per height of surrounding hedge (eg height seen of hedge in number 8). This will be about 2.80meters above street pavement level, at the height of previous pollard points of the trees. This will allow for a manageable growth of both trees. Why: trees were pruned in 2017 and grow tremendously fast. The leaves are very dense, casting a lot of shadow on any plants below, both on property 6 and 8. Moreover, the branches reach across the pavement onto the street, creating hindrance to bypassers. In addition, a very sticky substance is released onto the ground and on top of cars, leaving the cars very dirty. The above has been discussed and approved with the owner of number 6. As neighbour, I proposed to submit this application on behalf of number 6.
