The remaining crown mass is biased away from the area of decay, resulting in an unfavourable load distribution across the stem. Due to its condition and position within a regularly used domestic garden, the tree presents an elevated risk of structural failure.Replacement planting is proposed with a suitable species (e.g. Field Maple) within the garden to maintain amenity value.
