Application Details
Description

T1 Elm - Tree leans over No 135 and heavily clad with Ivy - Sever Ivy at base and cut back branches to boundary line. T2 Robinia - Tree stem bifurcates at approx two metres with approx 15 of growth above fork, with swelling/bulging around fork, indicating high amounts of stress due to weight. Remove smaller stem closest to the house and reduce the remaining stem by three metres.Reasons:1. Foliage from trees in the neighbouring woodland are significantly overhanging property by approx. 3 metres with some touching the roof.2. Some branches are dead and pose a threat by falling onto patio/property presenting a risk to safety.3. There is an associated fire risk due to the proximity of the foliage to the house (overhanging the property and touching the roof).4. An almost complete blockage of light on the side of the house which faces the woodland causing damp and mould to side of house. One room is in permanent darkness.5. Trees lean over the house and create a lot of leaf drop/debris falling into garden.
