Description

Construct a new 33kv tee off in order to provide a new connection point for Coire nam Muc Hydro Scheme. The new line will consist of two new poles (one single pole and one double pole), which will house our plant equipment. The new overhead line will be installed using poles of a wooden variety and these will be approximately 9.5 metres in height. The total length of the overhead line will be 60 metres. From pole two of the new spur we propose to install approximately 1.25 km of low voltage mains cablemoving down into service cable, which will terminate at the meter connection point. This will be classed as permitted development.As the line is to be constructed away from the main road there will be no requirement for traffic management, supplies will be stored within our local depot yard near Fort William.
