Description

The Highland Council is proposing to upgrade the ferry service on the Corran Narrows by replacing the existing ferries with twoelectric vessels, infrastructure requirements of the electric vessels are such that new and upgraded facilities are required, the CFIIS will include (but not be limited to) construction and operation of 2 new concrete slipways with alignment structures, an overnight berthing structure with vessel charging point, a breakwater, upgraded marshalling lanes and access roads, accommodation, extension to the ferry office and supporting services, the development footprint is likely to be greater than 2 hectares
