Description

Approximately 20 trees. These mainly consist of birch, cherry, beech, (ranging from saplings to semi- mature) with a field maple and a Japanese pagoda tree (semi- mature/mature). The proposal is to carry out work to several of these trees, in particular the Japanese pagoda,field maple and larger twin-stem cherry. This work will be to remove or shorten limbs overhanging the play area, reduce the trees in height, remove any deadwood. This is maintenance work, not removal work - the trees are densely packed together, with canopies inter- connected so it is difficult to specify exactly what work will be doneto which individual tree.
