L1. A line of Western Red Cedar(Thuja plucata) trees, essentially forming a tall hedge at the rear of the garden. They are in good health and have been trimmed/reduced before and have recovered well but are now having an impact on the neighbouring gardens and the telephone cables running beneath again and are limiting light to the garden. To mitigate this the applicant would like to repeat the process of trimming the lateral growth and reducing the height by approximately 2.5 meters and raising the canopy (where required) to give clearance to the telephone cables.
