Description

Purpose: to increase light for the Apple trees and remove hazard for the properties in Pinsley Mill Gardens. The hedges in the Millennium Green have been under-managed and they have grown into trees which shade the orchard and meadow. Initial Activity - One day of work pruning one Field Maple and coppicing another at the south side of theGreen across the public footpath. The application includes hedgerows highlighted in the plans which will be pollarded and coppiced as required when time and finances allow.
