Description

Installation of a demountable aluminium flood barrier to all doorways which represent the main route of water ingress. This will involve the installation of side posts fixed either between the reveals or on the face of the doorways and the installation of a ground channel to the floor. Ancillary measures are proposed to smaller potential water ingress points: minor patch re-pointing, anti-flood air bricks to replace air bricks, non-return valves to domestic wastepipes and the manhole, seal oil pipe and any other pipe/cable entries. Lastly, installation of a submersible pump to a sump below the suspended timber floor to increase the property resilience height.
