Pine tree- request to fell the tree and remove the stump. Reason (a) to provide light to the yew tree in order for the tree to flourish (along with a much ivy removal as practical), (b) as a result of the pine tree location on a slope, the damage done by the ivy and the poorroot structural coverage the tree is not secure, it is feasible that prolonged heavy winds coupled with a higher than usual water table then tree could up root.
