Description

Proposed works to include chimney removal of plaster and concrete finishes from the rubble stone chimney breast and adjacent alcove wall. Removal of infill material from the fireplace returning to the historic opening size, repointing, minor repairs to stone chimney breast, new wood burner, chimney liner and cowl. Removal of walling and hardboard boxing in the living room, removal of paint layers to internal and external timberwork using poultice type paint stripper. (Retrospective).
